In today’s fast-paced global marketplace, businesses sourcing custom-manufactured goods must prioritise timely production and reliable delivery. Delays can cause costly disruptions, missed opportunities, and frustration among customers.
Our platform introduces a game-changing solution – a Real-Time Time and Action Module. This article explores how this innovative feature transforms B2B production by ensuring real-time visibility, approvals, and punctual deliveries
Section 1: Time and Action Module Explained
A Time and Action Plan (T&A) serves as a detailed project management tool in manufacturing and production, outlining specific tasks, deadlines, and responsible parties to maintain project progress on schedule. It provides a structured roadmap for coordinating and monitoring activities, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.
The plan tackles crucial challenges in B2B transactions, such as approval delays, visibility issues, and unexpected delivery timeline setbacks. By aligning stakeholders on timelines and responsibilities, it proactively identifies and addresses potential delays and bottlenecks.
Section 2: How the Time & Action Module Works
We can break down the T&A module into three stages:
Step 1 – Creation:
Upon acceptance of a Purchase Order, a supplier will create a T&A plan. We have pre-defined templates for different categories. However, as a supplier, you have the flexibility to add milestones that might be relevant to your order.
You can choose the start date and end date for each milestone, and additionally, also tag any step as a payment milestone. Once you are satisfied with the plan, you can submit it for approval.
Step 2 – Acceptance:
Once submitted, rivexa team will review the plan and leverage our category expertise to suggest changes to the plan. The plan is then shared with the buyer for their acceptance.
Step 3 – Monitoring:
Once the T&A plan is accepted, it then goes into the acceptance stage. For every milestone, suppliers will update the progress on the platform. In addition, they can attach any documents, including PDF, Excel, photos, or videos, as proof of completion of the milestone.
Once a milestone is marked as complete, buyers can review the milestone and mark it as ‘Accepted‘. The integrated T&A plan will show various statuses of the milestones, including ‘On Track‘ or ‘Delayed‘.
Conclusion:
In a competitive B2B landscape, staying ahead of production delays and ensuring on-time deliveries is a strategic advantage. Our Time and Action Module empowers businesses to achieve just that by providing transparency, efficiency, and reliability throughout the production process. Embrace this transformative tool and experience a new era of streamlined B2B production and delivery excellence.
